A Real Dwelling: Philadelphia

Our “Real Dwelling” this month features a beautiful loft located in the Washington Square West area of downtown Philadelphia.

The owners of the unit had a wall built to divide the open space and create a more private area for the bedroom.

The wallpaper that they selected for the back wall makes for an excellent accent wall in the space that complements the upholstered bed very nicely.

I love the “At the Races” print on exposed brick. It too looks perfect with the wallpaper and headboard.

The white Marco table is a very versatile piece. It was displayed in our showroom as a console unit, but looks great here paired as large end tables.

The Dwelling furniture and accessories in the room work wonderfully with the space to create a stylish yet cozy bedroom in this chic urban dwelling.

A look at the rest of the loft.

February Furniture

We’ve been off to a very busy start this month, as we continue to add new furniture, accessories, and lighting to our showroom. I’m excited to fill everyone in on what’s been going on here at Dwelling, so here’s a recap of the exciting changes and additions that have happened in our showroom over the past couple of weeks.

Our leather gallery is coming along nicely, as we continue to add a variety of new leather pieces to the floor. We’re thrilled with everything that has come in so far, and can’t wait for our leather collection to grow over the next few weeks.

We also recently set up a fabulous new collection of upholstered sofas and sectionals, that have already been a big hit with our customers. My favorite piece is the tufted sectional below. It’s classic, yet comfortable. What’s yours?

Just yesterday we added a great selection of gorgeous new lamps and chandeliers to our showroom. From dramatic and funky, to elegant and classic- we now have an amazing variety of lighting on our floor.

I posted a picture to our blog last week of a beautiful new bedroom set. Here is what it looks like set up in our window display. Distinguished by its architectural lines and unique character, this collection has a very light and elegant look. It fits in very nicely with the variety of unique wood pieces that we have in our showroom.

Before I wrap up, I have a few more occasional tables and chests that I love so much, I just can’t leave out.

This buffet is too cute for words. It’s made out of reclaimed wood and covered in distressed colorful paint, which gives it a great vintage look. And with plenty of storage space, this unit is not only adorable, but extremely functional.

Finally, if you’re looking for something a bit more sleek, we just got in a great new series of industrial style tables, including this iron coffee table.

Which one is more your style?
